How The Parts Add Up: VTI Targets $250By Dividend Channel Staff, Monday, August 21, 8:30 AM ETLooking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (NYSE:VTI), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $250.47 per unit. With VTI trading at a recent price near $217.01 per unit, that means that analysts see 15.42% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of VTI's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are Achieve Life Science Inc (NASDAQ:ACHV), Lisata Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:LSTA), and Rani Therapeutics Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:RANI). Although ACHV has traded at a recent price of $4.90/share, the average analyst target is 532.65% higher at $31.00/share. Similarly, LSTA has 471.96% upside from the recent share price of $2.71 if the average analyst target price of $15.50/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting RANI to reach a target price of $22.00/share, which is 436.59% above the recent price of $4.10.
