Analysts Anticipate FBT To Hit $185By Dividend Channel Staff, Monday, February 5, 7:00 AM ETLooking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF (NYSE:FBT), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $185.13 per unit. With FBT trading at a recent price near $148.75 per unit, that means that analysts see 24.46% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of FBT's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are Insmed Inc (NASDAQ:INSM), Genmab A/S (NASDAQ:GMAB), and United Therapeutics Corp (NASDAQ:UTHR). Although INSM has traded at a recent price of $28.18/share, the average analyst target is 52.00% higher at $42.83/share. Similarly, GMAB has 45.08% upside from the recent share price of $27.80 if the average analyst target price of $40.33/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting UTHR to reach a target price of $294.27/share, which is 37.99% above the recent price of $213.25.
