IVOV's Underlying Holdings Imply 11% Gain PotentialBy Dividend Channel Staff, Wednesday, February 28, 6:50 AM ETLooking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the Vanguard S&P Mid-Cap 400 Value ETF (NYSE:IVOV), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $95.20 per unit. With IVOV trading at a recent price near $85.85 per unit, that means that analysts see 10.89% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of IVOV's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are Visteon Corp (NASDAQ:VC), Valmont Industries Inc (NYSE:VMI), and Power Integrations Inc. (NASDAQ:POWI). Although VC has traded at a recent price of $115.16/share, the average analyst target is 33.35% higher at $153.57/share. Similarly, VMI has 20.78% upside from the recent share price of $212.23 if the average analyst target price of $256.33/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting POWI to reach a target price of $85.00/share, which is 20.70% above the recent price of $70.42.
