The Implied Analyst 12-Month Target For FTXRBy Dividend Channel Staff, Tuesday, March 12, 6:46 AM ETLooking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the First Trust Nasdaq Transportation ETF (NASDAQ:FTXR), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $33.75 per unit. With FTXR trading at a recent price near $30.75 per unit, that means that analysts see 9.75% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of FTXR's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (NASDAQ:GT), LKQ Corp (NASDAQ:LKQ), and WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:WSC). Although GT has traded at a recent price of $12.57/share, the average analyst target is 30.99% higher at $16.47/share. Similarly, LKQ has 23.42% upside from the recent share price of $51.74 if the average analyst target price of $63.86/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting WSC to reach a target price of $56.00/share, which is 21.61% above the recent price of $46.05.
