Analysts Anticipate 13% Gains Ahead For ILDRBy Dividend Channel Staff, Thursday, April 11, 7:38 AM ETLooking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the First Trust Innovation Leaders ETF (NYSE:ILDR), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $24.83 per unit. With ILDR trading at a recent price near $22.04 per unit, that means that analysts see 12.66% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of ILDR's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are SpringWorks Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:SWTX), Halozyme Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:HALO), and Shopify Inc (NYSE:SHOP). Although SWTX has traded at a recent price of $43.57/share, the average analyst target is 53.12% higher at $66.71/share. Similarly, HALO has 30.60% upside from the recent share price of $39.28 if the average analyst target price of $51.30/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting SHOP to reach a target price of $82.80/share, which is 15.03% above the recent price of $71.98.
