Delta Natural Gas Company distributes or transports natural gas to approximately 36,000 customers as of June 30 2017. Co.'s distribution and transmission systems are located in central and southeastern Kentucky, and it owns and operates an underground natural gas storage field in southeastern Kentucky. Co. operates through two segments: Regulated and Non-regulated. Co.'s regulated segment includes its natural gas distribution and transportation services, which are regulated by the Kentucky Public Service Commission. Co.'s non-regulated segment includes our natural gas marketing activities and the sales of natural gas liquids.
