Enbridge Energy Partners is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in owning and operating crude oil and liquid petroleum transportation and storage assets. Co. conducts its business in one segment which is liquids. This segment includes the operations of its Lakehead System, Bakken Assets and Mid-Continent Systems. Co.'s Lakehead system, together with the Enbridge system in Canada, form the Mainline system, operates the liquid petroleum pipeline system. Co.'s Mid-Continent system is comprised of storage terminals at Cushing, OK. Co.'s Bakken Assets consists of the North Dakota System and the Bakken Pipeline System.
