AG Mortgage Investment Trust is a Maryland corporation that invests in, acquires and manages a diversified portfolio of residential mortgage assets, other real estate-related securities and financial assets, which Co. refers to as its target assets. Co.'s portfolio focuses on non-Agency RMBS. Co.'s non-Agency RMBS investments include fixed- and floating-rate securities, including investment grade (AAA through BBB) and non investment grade (BB and below). Co. invests significant proceeds from the offering in Agency RMBS. Over time, Co. transitions its portfolio from Agency RMBS to non-Agency RMBS. Co. is externally managed by AG REIT Management, LLC.
