BlackRock Municipal Income Investment Quality Trust is a closed-end investment management company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from U.S. federal income tax, including the alternative minimum tax and Florida intangible property tax. The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its managed assets in municipal bonds exempt from United States federal income taxes, including the alternative minimum tax.
