Nuveen Preferred & Income Securities Fund is a closed-end investment management company. The Fund's investment objective is high current income consistent with capital preservation. The Fund's secondary investment objective is to improve portfolio value. The Fund invests at least 80% of the sum of its net assets and the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in preferred and other income producing securities, including hybrid securities such as contingent capital securities. At least 50% of its managed assets are rated investment grade (BBB/Baa or better by Standard & Poor, Moody's Investors Service, Inc., or Fitch, Inc.) at the time of investment.
