Wilshire Bancorp is a bank holding company. Through its main subsidiary, Wilshire Bank (the Bank), Co. provides a range of financial products and services. Co.'s primary market comprises the populations of Southern California, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, New Jersey, and the New York metropolitan area. The Bank is engaged in providing financing for business working capital, commercial real estate, and trade activities, and its investment portfolio. In addition, Co.'s Trade Finance Department primarily deals in letters of credits issued to consumers whose businesses involve the international sale of goods. As of Dec 31 2015, Co. had total assets of $4.71 billion and deposits of $3.84 billion.
