EXCO Resources is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the exploration, exploitation, development and production of onshore U.S. oil and natural gas properties with a focus on shale resource plays. Co.'s principal operations are conducted in certain key U.S. oil and natural gas areas including Texas, Louisiana and the Appalachia region. As of Dec 31 2016, Co. had total proved reserves of approximately 476.72 billion cubic feet equivalent, of which approximately 63% were located in the Haynesville/Bossier shales, 23% in the Marcellus shale and 14% in the Eagle Ford shale.
