This morning, Applied Materials (AMAT) declared its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its previous dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.9% going forward.
Shares of Applied Materials were higher on Tuesday, climbing 1.1% so far.
In other dividend news, EMC Insurance Group (EMCI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share. MCG Capital (MCGC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents per share. And USA Mobility (USMO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Bank Nova Scotia Halifax (BNS) announced its quarterly dividend of 60 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend.
