This morning, Best Buy (BBY) declared its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders the previous quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.75% going forward.
In other dividend news, Centurylink (CTL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 54 cents per share. Globe Specialty Metals (GSM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share. Raven Industries (RAVN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share. And Flushing Financial (FFIC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Royal Bank of Canada (RY) announced its quarterly dividend of 79 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend. Solera Holdings (SLH) announced its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share, an increase of about 15%. And Ship Finance International (SFL) announced its quarterly dividend of 44 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend.
